DEAD LIST EXECUTIVE BLURB: Everyone who loves horror should read Chad's scripts. The writing here is a strong example of his unique and ambitious directorial vision. I love the concept of The Hole In The World, I've read it several times and, while I could sit here and compare it to Silent Hill, The Void, Hellraiser, Midnight Mass, etc -- the fact is it's very fresh. The great, bleak rural setting, compelling protagnist and dark, rich tone crawls with a constant sense of lurking danger. The script taps into a sensory knowledge of dusty, forgotten childhood memory in a way that comes so naturally to the writer.
