SHOWCASE SUBMISSIONS | INDUSTRY MANDATE OPPS | PRODUCERS BUREAU
Submit Below. Please Read First.
The team is on a (well-deserved) partial hiatus for this 2026 season (family health, physical health, and mental health care), although we’re still launching two incredible showcases. However, the interest from the industry and our budding relationships are still growing exponentially—so if you know us at all, this hype train ain’t stopping. So, we’re opening a few script submissions opportunities, but they will look a bit different. We ask that you please be patient with us for reading, reachouts, and in case we have to push any scheduled showcases.
We’re aiming for our last showcase of 2026in October (with legendary special guests already booked). Deadline is September 1st. Earlier is always ideal.
As always, if our readers respond to your work, you will hear from us at some point. We won’t be able to notify you if you were not selected for any of our opportunities, and we can’t check to see if we received your script—reminder: we don’t charge writers and our team are volunteers. If you submit below, scroll up and down on your screen for a little thank you confirmation after you’ve submitted. Sometimes it’s not dead center in your screen, and a bit tough to see. If you submitted, your query came through, and it will be reviewed. I know not hearing anything back is difficult, but just keep writing the next thing. We just simply don’t have the manpower right now.
Potential FAQs:
The most common mistake and will unfortunately result in a pass on your script: the link to your script is set to private. Most links are private by default (like in Google Drive), so, it’s VERY IMPORTANT that you toggle that link to public/anyone with link can access. If you just upload your script to Google drive and share that link, it’s default private and we won’t be able to access. A quick Google search will show you how to easily switch your links to public so we can review them: VIEW HERE. Additionally, if you move that file or delete in at any point later, we won’t be able to access it; moving or deleting it will result in a broken link we can’t access.
If you have material that fits our OPEN MANDATE OPPORTUNITIES, yes, you should submit to that in addition to also submitting to our annual showcases. And yes, they are free.
Can I submit multiple scripts to the same showcase/mandate opp? As of right now, NO. Our team is small. Please only submit your absolute best and polished script.
Ash Lazer has started partnering with Senior Producers and taking projects discovered on The Stunt List website to market, as well as doing so as solo Producer, under industry standard shopping agreements. This is not a requirement or condition for any submission/showcase/mandate/iniative we offer on the site. You will always retain all rights to your script when submitting, your script will always be considered for showcase and referred to any mandates as is, without any producorial attachments. In the rare case Ash or the Executive Team discovers a script we really feel passionate about and/or is a fit for Ash’s personal producorial interests and relationships, those conversations will be optional and discussed formally and professionally, with no financial requirement. The Stunt List Producers Bureau is simply just another (optional) way to get your work in front of industry members. There is no direct submission for consideration. Scripts that come through our general showcases and mandate submission will automatically be considered. Again, at zero cost to you nor an exchange of any rights.
In conclusion (do people still say that?), we are still free to submit. We are still ran by volunteer writers and producers. We are still champions of underrepresented voices. We just ask that you continue to be patient with us as we take a bit of time off, and be ultra patient if you submit to any of our opportunities. You’ll hear from us if there’s a fit for anything we’re offering all year. And it honestly is more likely to be in 2027.
PS. If you’re interested in joining our team, and/or have serious ambitions (experience is a plus) about potentially becoming a producer, a creative/development exec, or interest in literary management / entertainment law, internships, etc, drop your details HERE. Again, we are a VOLUNTEER company currently. Opportunity, experience, building relationships, and showcasing your material is what we’re able to offer as compensation presently. Plus you get some ultra rad street cred amongst the writing community (we hope).
Thank you for reading my longwinded note. I didn’t have time to write a shorter one ;) And as a team, we are infinitely grateful to all of your incredible support for what we’re trying to do here. And thank you for sharing your voice with us, and continuing to write, even though we are all experiencing terribly turbulent times. The only thing that matters is your health and your family. Keep writing when you’re able to, but please empower yourself to take some time off for your own mental health.
LET’S BREAK SOME LEAD!
NO AI WRITING OF ANY KIND ALLOWED. YOU WILL BE BANNED.
