Bio: Brandon Weavil is a WGA screenwriter with a Master’s Degree in Creative Writing. He frequently collaborates with Emmy-nominated director Rod Blackhurst, with whom he co-wrote the horror feature DOLLY—starring Seann William Scott, Ethan Suplee, and Fabianne Therese—which was released in theaters via Independent Film Company and Shudder. DOLLY marks one of three scripts Brandon has sold or optioned. He also wrote, directed, and produced a short film that was recently acquired by Bloody Disgusting.

LOGLINE: Inspired by the cult classic silent film, HÄXAN is a blood-soaked love letter to occult horror.
The series follows May Marlowe, a pediatric-oncology nurse disillusioned with modern medicine. When May witnesses a demon cure cancer, she demands to know more, drawing the attention of a powerful and vindictive witch. Wanting to keep these occult secrets to herself, the witch sends a horde of demons after May, forcing May to go on the run with a disgraced demonologist who views May as his last chance at salvation.
