LUKAS KENDALL

WRITER | DIRECTOR

Lukas Kendall is a multi-hyphenate looking for management.

As a writer/director, his project SKY FIGHTER was featured on The Originals Bureau S1. The proof-of-concept short film clocked over 3M views across platforms for DUST. The feature script is now being packaged by a producer and sales company.

In television, he has attached Jonathan Frakes (Star Trek: First Contact) to direct and EP his half-hour comedy-drama, FAN FILM. The show is about a group of fans who try to make the world’s most overproduced fan film of their favorite sci-fi series, and is drawn from Lukas’ own experiences in sci-fi fandom. View the deck.

He is looking for reps to set up his other material, starting with a $3M “Sundance horror” film:

THE DEMONOLOGIST: A Texas housewife allows her wealthy family to exorcise their troubled teenage son—only to learn the evil that threatens him resides within her own in-laws’ “demonologist.”

Vibe check: Rosemary’s Baby x Succession.

As a public writing sample, please see this 20-page sci-fi short film, Blind Jump: a teleporter rescues his daughter from bad guys. Page one of Blind Jump presented in script image on page.
