VERUCA
Written by Drew Z. Greenberg
Twenty-five years after the infamous chocolate tour, a grown-up Veruca Salt enjoys a life of quiet anonymity, but when Willy Wonka turns up murdered, she finds herself drawn back into a world she thought she’d left behind, one lousy with betrayal, danger, lies, and, worst of all, candy.
MEET THE WRITER
DREW Z. GREENBERG
Drew Z. Greenberg has spent more than 25 years as a writer/producer. He was an executive producer on Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD and Warehouse 13. Other credits include Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Dexter, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Queer as Folk, Arrow, and Fantasy Island. He co-created and was the show runner/executive producer on Netflix’s West Hollywood Alien Hunters and Disney+’s Stay Gold, two shows which deserved to see the light of day, but no one said life or television are fair. Drew got his start writing questions on the short-lived game show Burt Luddin's Love Buffet, though when asked directly, Drew will deny any knowledge of Burt Luddin's Love Buffet. Reps: Matt Snow/Jonny Gutman - Paradigm; Brandy Rivers/Josh Levy - Amplified.
