As of now, that donation amount is over $30,000!

Every so often we will post all of our financials online showing what we've generated in sales, what our expenses are and how much is left over to donate to the ECF. (Unlike streamers, we will share our data.) Expenses include materials, printing, shipping and general operational costs, but our goal is for approximately 40-45% of every purchase to go to the ECF. On June 16, we posted our financials in a Twitter thread. A similar thread will follow every so often.

Jess was one of the first rad volunteers to take the initaitve to crowd fund and feed the writer as the strike began, and after recruiting a team to assist, as delivered almost 1,000 pizzas, all before the cool celebrities so graciously began to send food trucks.

To support feature film and television writers in our community as they stand for fair pay and protections in the workplace, recognizing that this action may result in financial hardship for writers and their families, Humanitas is distributing grocery store gift cards to current WGA writers in need.

These will be dispersed while supplies last. Humanitas will be prioritizing writers who are early in their careers.

Submitters will need a Google account to complete a request. The Humanitas staff is currently processing requests in one to three business days. Grocery card delivery is completed on a weekly basis.
