DEAD LIST EXECUTIVE BLURB: Super weird, super funny, with a nice dry edge. Understands exactly what it's trying to do, what kind of movie it's trying to be, and everything feels well thought-through. I've never read anything with the POV of a balloon before. The way Smiley is humanized in this without having any facial expressions or arms or legs is really impressive. The fight sequences make me laugh and they’re super interesting to read and imagine the staging for. The images are very unique, the dialogue is packed full of funnies and yet there's no pressure or strain to any of it. It just felt (pardon the pun) “light” and it cheered me up. It reminds me of the Brave Little Toaster (except he’s homicidal.) — CREATIVE EXECUTIVE SHAUNA JOY
